Saint Francis University celebrates 11 years of earning the "College of Distinction" honor for demonstrating hands-on learning, strong student-teacher relationships, a vibrant campus life, and successful outcomes.

Saint Francis University has received a high-speed, industrial-grade 3D printer, thanks to a generous donation from a corporate partner. Known as the BIG-Meter, the printer features a build area of one cubic meter, enabling the creation of full-scale prototypes, tooling, molds, and end-use parts in a single print.

Money Magazine has awarded Saint Francis University a 4-star rating in its 2025 Best Colleges in America list, which evaluates more than 700 institutions on quality, affordability, and outcomes.

SFU sophomore Thomas Grove earned the university’s first DoD Cyber Service Academy scholarship. The award covers two years of tuition and includes a guaranteed federal job after graduation. It highlights both Thomas’s achievements and the strength of SFU’s Cybersecurity program.

Cole Weiland, a third-year Chemistry major at Saint Francis University, has thrived in the Honors Program through hands-on research in cytochrome c oxidation and acid mine drainage remediation. As SGA president and an Eagle Scout, he’s also led campus initiatives and maintained strong community ties. Looking ahead to medical school, he values the mentorship and opportunities the program has provided.

Saint Francis University’s 15th Annual Charity Bike Ride, led by 78-year-old cancer survivor Br. Shamus McGrenra, will take place this October to benefit the Dorothy Day Outreach Center. Spanning from Pennsylvania to Washington, D.C., the ride aims to surpass $1 million in total fundraising and continues to inspire with its message of hope and service.

As Saint Francis University begins its exciting transition to NCAA Division III, the Athletics Department is proud to announce the addition of men’s swimming as its 23rd intercollegiate athletics program, launching in the 2026–27 season.

Both the President's & Dean's Lists were announced on Wednesday, June 4, 2025. A total of 778 students were named; 250 to the President's List and 528 to the Dean's List.

From student-athlete to emerging business professional and Army officer, 2nd Lt. Erika Ellison is a Saint Francis University graduate whose career journey is rooted in discipline, ambition, and a desire to serve. A native of Washington State, Erika came to SFU to play lacrosse—and left five years later with not only two degrees but also a clear sense of direction.

Chynna Bozeman has been promoted to head coach of Saint Francis women’s basketball after a standout season as an assistant. A former college star and experienced coach, she brings strong leadership and a clear vision as the Red Flash look to build on their legacy and return to championship form.
