Alumni Continuing Education Discounted Credits

We are excited to announce a partnership with Summit Professional Education to offer discounted continuing education credits for our alumni. Summit’s CE credits currently cover Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, psychology fields, and education fields, and we look forward to working with them and other organizations to expand those offerings to even more fields, such as law, accounting, etc.

Announcing the Next SFU Alumni Trip

Austria 2026

 

On behalf of the Very Rev. Malachi Van Tassell, T.O.R., Ph.D., President of Saint Francis University, you are invited to join us as we embark on our next pilgrimage, this time through Austria and Hungary, taking place June 19-29, 2026.  

 

Along with a stop in Bratislava, Slovakia, this journey combines the best of the area’s holiest sites, most significant historical landmarks, and quintessential cultural experiences. The trip is also the perfect mixture of the metropolitan and the bucolic, with big cities like Salzburg, Vienna, and Budapest on the itinerary alongside more rural, smaller villages like Altotting, Melk, and Gaming.  

 

This air-and-land trip includes breakfast and dinner provided each day, and with all hotel stays and entrance fees included in the price. Pricing starts at $7,744 per person for double traveler. Pricing will vary depending from which airport you depart.  

 

Seating is limited and will be reserved on a first-come, first-served basis. A nonrefundable $500 deposit is required at the time of registration.

 

After the success of last year’s pilgrimage through Spain, Saint Francis University is once again partnering with 206 Tours, the leader in custom Catholic pilgrimages. The Saint Francis University Alumni Association promotes and strengthens lifelong relationships with the worldwide Saint Francis community through communication, event programming, and services. The Alumni Association supports events for alumni and students alike, including Mentorship Week, Alumnifire, and eight Alumni Association scholarships for the children, stepchildren, and grandchildren of alumni.

SFU alumnae Crystal Little recreated the original “Reach Higher. Go Far.” poster during a trip to Canyonlands National Park in Utah a few years ago. She Reached Higher. She Went Far. Long before Crystal Little ’99, ’01 knew where her career would take her, she stood on a hillside near Saint Francis University at sunrise, raised both arms into the air and unknowingly became part of University history. Crystal was an undergraduate when she was asked to participate in a Saint Francis marketing photo shoot. She agreed to meet the photographer at 6 a.m. the next morning, and as the sun came up
