- From Northwestern Pennsylvania
- Take I-79 to Route 422 east to Ebensburg. In town, turn left at the traffic light onto High Street. Continue straight at next light. Turn left on to Manor Road. Saint Francis University is six miles on the right.
- From Cleveland (Ohio area)
- Take Ohio Turnpike east to I-80 east. Take I-680 south to Route 422 east (approximately 120 miles) to Ebensburg. In town, turn left at the traffic light onto High Street. Continue straight at next light. Turn left on to Manor Road. Follow this road for six miles to the Saint Francis University entrance on right.
- From southwestern Pennsylvania and southeast Ohio
- Take Route 22 east from Pittsburgh to second Ebensburg exit (Ebensburg/Loretto exit). Bear right at end of exit ramp. Proceed straight (crossing over Route 22). Turn right at the first light on to Manor Road. Follow this road for six miles to the Saint Francis University entrance on right.
- From Northeastern Pennsylvania/Central New Jersey
- Take I-80 south to I-80 west to exit 161 (Bellefonte). Take US99/Route 220 south approximately 50 miles to Altoona and Route 22 west. Take Route 22 west to Lilly/Portage exit. Turn right onto Route 53 north. Continue on Route 53 north approximately two miles to traffic light (Sheetz on left). Turn left at light and continue beneath railroad overpass. 200 yards beyond overpass, bear right at Saint Francis University sign onto St. Joseph Street. Take this road four miles to Loretto. At Village Cross monument on traffic circle, bear left. Saint Francis University entrance is 200 yards on left.
- From Southeastern Pennsylvania and Baltimore, Maryland/Washington, D.C.
- Take PA Turnpike (I-76) west to Bedford exit 146 (220 North/I-99 North). Turn left after toll booth. At top of hill, turn left onto US99/Route 220 north to Altoona. Travel approximately 30 miles to Route 22 west. Continue from Altoona -- previous paragraph.

Flying to and from Saint Francis University is easy. Most flights arrive at Pittsburgh International Airport. Some airlines may fly to Johnstown or Altoona and make your connection at either Pittsburgh (PIT), Washington-Dulles, or Baltimore-Washington (BWI). Be sure to check individual airlines for detail.

Travel through Loretto (bear right at circle with monument) and travel approximately 5 miles to the first stop sign. Turn left into Cresson (Dollar General on left) onto Admiral Peary Highway (Rt. 53). Travel to the next traffic light at the Sheetz Gas Station. Continue straight through light up hill. At the top of the hill follow signs to 22 West, Hollidaysburg, Altoona. Enter 22 East and travel approximately ten miles. 22 East will split, follow signs to 220 North/I-99, Altoona. The first exit off of 220 North/I-99 is Plank Road Exit.

This beautiful outdoor spiritual space includes a replica of Our Lady of Lourdes Grotto, the Pieta statue, a Nativity scene, in addition to the Stations of the Cross. It can be accessed from a paved path across from Cafe Gubbio.
Our golf course is a short demanding course that serves as the on-campus home of the Red Flash golf and cross country teams. Located on the Saint Francis University campus, Immergrün has never been altered since it was built for Charles M. Schwab in 1917.
The Keirn Family World War II Museum
The museum is a significant collection that captures the essence of the “Greatest Generation” and paints a picture of life in the 1940s that goes far beyond the battlefield as told through the stories of the men and women of Pennsylvania.
Schwab Gardens of the magnificent former Charles M. Schwab Estate (now Mount Assisi Friary) are open for public viewing. The Italian Renaissance style garden was created by Charles Wellford Leavitt Jr., a pioneering landscape engineer who also designed Forbes Field.
Southern Alleghenies Museum of Art
SAMA exists to preserve, exhibit, and advance American art and is dedicated to making its programs and activities accessible to the people of the southwestern area of central Pennsylvania.
The theatre at Saint Francis University creates a unique avenue for students and area residents to come together as they learn and grow in their theatrical abilities.
