    I earned the following degrees: B.S. in Spanish, B.S. in Business Education, M.Ed. in Counselor Education, and Ph.D. in Curriculum & Instruction with an emphasis on Language & Literacy Education from The Pennsylvania State University. I am a Pennsylvania certified teacher and I can teach Spanish, French, Italian, Business Education, Music, Health Education, Social Studies, English, and Grades PK - 6 in the State of Pennsylvania, in addition to certifications as a Principal and Superintendent. I worked in public education as a teacher, counselor, and school administrator for 35 years. In addition, I was named Outstanding Superintendent in the State of Pennsylvania by the Pennsylvania Music Educators’ Association in 2010.

    After retiring from public education, I taught Spanish, French, Italian, and Music at St. Joseph’s Catholic Academy in Boalsburg in its inaugural school year. Other experience includes: Adjunct Assistant Professor of Spanish at St. Francis University and English, Spanish, and Office Technology Instructor at South Hills School of Business & Technology. In addition to teaching for St. Francis University, I also am a full-time faculty member in the Department of Spanish, Italian, and Portuguese at the Pennsylvania State. University.

    My travels include: Italy, Spain, France, England, Ireland, and Greece. I serve as the pianist for the Hispanic Catholic Ministry at Penn State University. In my spare time, I volunteer with Centre LifeLink as an EMT.
