About Dr. Joel Bandstra

Dr. Bandstra founded the environmental engineering program at Saint Francis in 2008 and has enjoyed guiding numerous students to rewarding careers ever since. He conducts basic and applied research in geochemical kinetics. In addition to teaching and research, Dr. Bandstra is also actively engaged in consulting practice as a Senior Environmental Engineering with MineraLogic LLC. By spanning scientific research and engineering consultancy, he is able to help Saint Francis students gain practical experience in environmental engineering and to develop a vision for the future of our profession.
