Saint Francis University Announces K-12 Summer Youth Programs Featuring Athletics, Kids Camps, Pre-College Experiences, and Faith Formation

LORETTO, Pa. — Saint Francis University is excited to announce a dynamic lineup of summer youth programs designed to engage, inspire, and empower students from kindergarten through high school. From athletic camps and hands-on STEAM learning to immersive pre-college academies and faith-based retreats, SFU offers meaningful opportunities for students to explore their interests, build skills, and experience campus life.


Athletic Youth Camps & Clinics

Saint Francis Athletics will host a wide range of youth camps and clinics for K-12 students. Programs are available in Basketball, Field Hockey, Football, Softball, Soccer, and Volleyball, providing young athletes the chance to develop their skills under the guidance of experienced coaches in a fun and supportive environment.

Kids’ College Summer STEAM Camps

Designed for students entering grades 1 through 9, Kids’ College offers two- to five-day camps focused on STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics). Participants can explore topics such as astronomy, biology, chemistry, engineering, computer science, medicine, physics, language, history, and art through engaging, hands-on activities.

Summer Pre-College Academies

High school students can spend three unforgettable days on the beautiful campus of Saint Francis University, exploring potential career paths and experiencing college life firsthand. Pre-College Research Programs

This non-residential program provides rising sophomores, juniors, seniors, and incoming SFU freshmen with the opportunity to collaborate with faculty mentors on real-world research projects. Summer 2026 topics include Aldol Condensation, Dragonfly Diversity, the Wellbeing of Shelter Cats, Therapeutic Gardens at Maple Heights Rehab Center, and Mechanochemistry for Sustainable Chemistry.

Young Men’s Catholic Retreat
