On Saturday, October 29, 2022 Saint Francis University held the official Blessing and Dedication of the Fr. Ronald Bodenschatz, T.O.R. Driving Range at the Immergrun Golf Club in Loretto, Pa.

Saint Francis University has landed on the prestigious list of Forbes 2022 America’s Top 500 Colleges. In its annual list, Forbes ranked colleges and universities in the U.S. based on the return on investment and outcomes top schools delivered for their students. SFU welcomes more than 100 alumni and community mentors to campus Oct. 17- 22. The event is an excellent way for current students to benefit from the professional expertise of past graduates, many of whom are returning to campus for Homecoming celebrations that weekend.

Washington Monthly recently released its annual 2022 College Guide with Saint Francis University landing on three distinction lists: #23 Best Bang for the Buck in the Northeast #19 Top 200 Master's Universities Best Colleges for Student Voting Honor Roll Since 2005, the Washington Monthly has ranked colleges based on their contribution to the public good in three broad categories: social mobility, research, and promoting public service.

After several years of fundraising, the ceremonial groundbreaking of the Connors Family Fine Arts Center (Home of the Resinski Black Box Theatre) took place on Oct. 1.

The Saint Francis University Chemistry Honor Society teamed up with The Quaint Corner Children's Museum to bring chemistry kits to kids. A $500 grant from the Chemistry Honor Society Gamma Sigma Epsilon National office allowed Saint Francis to donate chemistry supplies for ten chemistry kits distributed to local libraries and institutions in Blair County. These kits allow staff to conduct science experiments for children and showcase basic chemistry lessons during organized activities. The Science Outreach Center and Mathematics Department at Saint Francis University is pleased to announce the winners of the 2021 Pennsylvania Statistics Poster Competition. The annual state competition is in its twenty-fifth year overall, and is coordinated for the thirteenth year by Saint Francis University. Cash awards of $96 for first place, $72 for second place, $48 for third place, and $24 for fourth place in each of four grade levels are awarded to the students who submitted winning posters.
