History of RED Day
R.E.D. is an annual day of service in which our students go into local communities to show appreciation for their support by giving of their time and talents.
Saint Francis’ chapter of Gamma Sigma Sigma (a national service sorority) organizes the event in cooperation with the Center for Service & Learning.
Members of the Saint Francis University community sign up as individuals or groups to volunteer in the local community.
Each year more than 400 faculty, staff, and students say "thank you" to the community by helping with clean-up and painting projects, working at local animal rescues, assisting the elderly with household chores and more.
