Saint Francis University’s 2025 STEAM Day brought 386 students from 21 schools to campus for a day of discovery featuring four keynote sessions in JFK Lounge and 35 faculty-led presentations across academic spaces.

The receipt of a transformative $1 million scholarship gift from a Saint Francis alumna who has chosen to remain anonymous has directly supported 200 first-year students who enrolled at the University in August 2025. Each student received $5,000 as part of the gift.

The SWITCHED Adapted Toys initiative at SFU brings MOT and Education students together to adapt toys with accessible switches, creating inclusive play opportunities for children with disabilities while giving students valuable hands-on, interdisciplinary experience.

Emerging healthcare professional Alexis Marcotte is a dedicated Honors scholar, a curious global explorer, and a voice for compassionate health care. Her Honors Thesis investigated factors that influence quality of life in skilled nursing facilities, inspired by her work in a nursing home.

Disasters, both human-made and natural, are an ever-present challenge in today’s world. Recognizing the critical importance of disaster preparedness in nursing education, Saint Francis University integrated an innovative teaching strategy into the undergraduate nursing curriculum: the student-created disaster simulation.

SFU is offering a four-week online course designed to prepare participants for the FAA Part 107 Drone Certification exam. The 1-credit course runs from Dec. 15, 2025, through Jan. 11, 2026. It is open to both SFU and non-SFU students.

High school students are showcasing poppy-themed artwork in the 2025 William N. Campbell Poppy Project at Saint Francis University’s Connors Family Fine Arts Center, where the public can vote for their favorite piece through November 14.
