Saint Francis University is expanding access to Catholic higher education through the new Altoona-Johnstown Catholic Leadership Scholarship, a $20,000 incentive for students attending public high schools who are active members of parishes within the Diocese of Altoona-Johnstown.

Saint Francis University welcomed three new Army ROTC cadets who earned highly competitive National Army ROTC Scholarships. The scholarships, which cover full tuition and are complemented by SFU-funded room and board, recognize the students’ academic achievement, leadership potential and commitment to service.

The Saint Francis University Community Blanketeers collection began September 16 and runs through October 29, 2026. Since 2006, the Blanketeers have collected more than 3,603 beautiful quilted, crocheted, knitted, fleece-tied, and embroidered blankets, which have been donated to local children in Blair County, Cambria County, and surrounding areas.
