Saint Francis University’s Physician Assistant Program ranked 85th in nation

U.S. News & World Report has listed Saint Francis University among the best graduate schools in the nation for those wanting to pursue a master's degree in physician assistant science.

The global authority in rankings and consumer advice placed SFU in the number 85 slot of physician assistant programs nationwide on its 2023-24 list of “Best Graduate Schools" and "Best Health Schools” based on peer assessments of the program's academic quality. Saint Francis is one of more than 800 institutions with graduate schools surveyed annually by U.S. News, and one of over 300 PA programs in the nation. 

Saint Francis PA students have achieved a first-time board pass rate of 100% in three of the past five years and have scored over the national average in four of those years.  The inclusion of innovative technologies such as high-fidelity simulation, ultrasound, and virtual anatomy combined with demonstrated academic success have resulted in the program being recognized for its over 40-year history of graduating competent and compassionate physician assistants.
