From the island of Haiti to the pine-covered mountains of Saint Francis University, it has been a long, but fortuitous journey for Wadler Fleurina, MPAS, PA-C, MB (ASCP). Growing up in an orphanage in Haiti, Wadler knew he wanted to work in the medical field.

Nicholas Redden is a 2018 SFU graduate and a physical therapist with the Cleveland Clinic in outpatient sports rehabilitation. Here, the Clearfield County native recounts the path that lead him to Saint Francis and what he’s been up to since graduation.

Mike Amenti originally enrolled at Saint Francis University in 2007 as a Communications major, but like many first year students, he was very uncertain with what he wanted to do in life at that point. He took a wide variety of business, health and even scuba courses.

Candace Rupert ‘18 is truly living the motto of Saint Francis University, “Become That Someone.” Candace remembers falling in love with the ocean when she was in second grade and presented a research project on stingrays. From that moment on she knew she wanted a career in helping save the ocean and all of its inhabitants.

Tiffany Farabaugh’s incredible drive led her to a career at one of the largest retailers in the world. After achieving her undergraduate degree in her home state of Montana, Tiffany joined the Army in 2006 as a 2nd Lieutenant.

Cecelia MacDonald graduated from Saint Francis University in 2015 with a Bachelor of Arts in English. After serving as the University’s Ann Eppard Scholar, interning on Capitol Hill, she decided to combine her love of language with law.
