2025 William N. Campbell Poppy Project – People’s Choice Award

The William N. Campbell Poppy Project is an outreach event in which high school students create artwork featuring a poppy. The red poppy is a nationally recognized symbol of sacrifice, worn by Americans since World War I to honor those who served and died for our country in all wars.
Artwork will be on display in the Connors Family Fine Arts Center at Saint Francis University through November 14, 2025. Guests are invited to stop by the lobby to vote for their favorite work of art in the People’s Choice Award.
The Saint Benedict VFW Post 7783 sponsored the poppies and awards in memory of William N. Campbell, former Quartermaster and Board Member. Participating high schools include Greensburg Central Catholic, Huntingdon Area High School, Penn Cambria High School, and Cambria Heights High School.
This event is free and open to the public.
