Biography

I'm Dr. Benjamin Smith, an Assistant Professor of Chemistry at Saint Francis University in Loretto, PA. After growing up in Wisconsin, I received a BA in Chemistry from Lawrence University (Appleton, WI). I then moved to Pennsylvania where I earned my PhD from Penn State University while working with Dr. Christine Keating. Since then, I have over 9 years of teaching experience from 5 different schools. My interests include fermentation, nanotechnology, and education.
