Biography
Dr. Gentry was born and raised in Kentucky and has lived in South Carolina, Tennessee, and Ohio before landing in Pennsylvania. He earned his B.A. in Government from Centre College of Kentucky and his M.A. and Ph.D. in International Studies from the University of South Carolina. He has been teaching at Saint Francis University since 2003. He teaches the following courses in Political Science: World Politics, U.S. Foreign Policy, War and Peace, Democracy and Dictatorship, International Law, Foundations of Political Theory and American Public Policy. His research interests are in U.S. foreign, trade, and national security policies. His current research addresses the rise and fall of U.S.-China trade relations.
