Biography:
Kristen Hollenback is a full-time faculty member in the Graduate School of Education at Saint Francis University. As a graduate of Westmont Hilltop High School in Johnstown, PA, she went on to earn a BA in Christian Education and Secondary English from Oral Roberts University and an MA in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in Adult Learning from Colorado Christian University. After teaching middle school English and serving in school administration as the Director of Teaching and Learning for about 30 years in Denver, CO, Kristen has recently returned to rural PA to assist with her family's 150 business as the 5th generation owner. While continuing oversight of the family business venture, in her return full-time to education, Kristen is not only an instructor but is also currently a student in SFU’s EdD in Organizational Leadership and Innovation Program focusing her dissertation research on teacher re-certification policy. Kristen has had the opportunity to speak at local, national, and international conferences on various educational leadership and curriculum topics.
