What You’ll Learn in the Information Systems Management (BAS)

The Bachelor of Applied Science in Information Systems Management is a flexible, career-focused degree-completion program designed for students with a technical background, who have earned technical credits, or who have an associate of applied science degree. The program is geared toward those students wanting to advance into management, supervisory, or leadership roles. 

 

Graduates of the BAS in Information Systems Management will be able to:

  • Analyze organizational information needs: evaluate business challenges and recommend effective information systems solutions that support organizational goals.
  • Apply Information Systems and Data Management tools: utilize information systems technologies and data management practices to improve operations and support decision-making.
  • Lead technology initiatives: manage information systems projects using effective leadership, collaboration, communication, and management practices.

Within the Information Systems Management degree is an embedded certificate in information technology management that students will earn once they complete the required certificate courses, further supporting career advancement, workforce mobility, and preparation for supervisory or managerial positions.
