What You’ll Learn in the Applied Management (BAS)

The Bachelor of Applied Science in Applied Management is a flexible, career-focused degree-completion program designed for students with a technical background, who have earned technical credits, or who have an associate of applied science degree. The program is geared toward those students wanting to advance into management, supervisory, or leadership roles. 

It builds on prior applied learning and integrates coursework in management, communication, problem solving, and data-informed decision making all while maximizing prior earned college credits and credit for prior learning, as appropriate. 

Within the Applied Management degree is an embedded certificate in management and leadership that students will earn once they complete the required certificate courses, further supporting career advancement, workforce mobility, and preparation for supervisory or managerial positions.

    The major itself is only 33 credits, heavily focused on management and leadership. The curriculum is intentionally practical and supervisory-oriented rather than theory-heavy.
