Master of Human Resource Management (MHRM) Application Requirements

Below you will find the application requirements for the MHRM program. Before you apply, please read all the requirements.

  • Applicant Requirements (U.S. Residents)

    All applicants are responsible for submitting a complete application packet to the Graduate Business Programs & HRM for consideration and admission to the Master of Business Administration program.  This packet should include the following material

    1. Completed and signed application for admission -  MHRM Application Form
    2. Non-refundable application fee of $30.00, in the form of a check or money order made payable to Saint Francis University
    3. Two (2) letters of professional recommendation -  MHRM Recommendation Form
    4. A minimum undergraduate grade point average of 3.0 is required. If candidate's GPA is <3.0, he or she may be accepted on a provisional basis while taking up to nine (9) credits. The student must obtain a minimum GPA of 3.0 in the first nine credits to be admitted to the program. If these requirements are not met the student will not be admitted to the program. 
    5. Official transcripts from all undergraduate and graduate course work completed by the applicant must be sent directly from the college/university to the Graduate Business Programs & HRM. (Copies from student will not be accepted.)
    6. If you were referred by a graduate of the Saint Francis University Master of Human Resource Program, please complete the  MHRM Referral Form and submit along with your application. A gift will be sent to the person who referred you once your application has been processed.

    Applicant Requirements (International Residents)

    All international applicants are responsible for submitting a complete application packet to the Graduate Business Programs & HRM for consideration and admission to the Master of Business Administration program. This packet should include the following materials:

    1. Completed and signed application for admission  
    2. A non-refundable application fee of $30, in the form of a check or money order made payable to Saint Francis University.
    3. Two (2) letters of recommendation, written in English, one professional and one personal which include information about English proficiency. 
    4. As essay, written in English, must be submitted addressing the topic of Why I Want to Obtain a Master of Human Resource at Saint Francis University. 
    5. Official undergraduate transcripts must be submitted, with a minimum GPA of 3.0. In addition, the transcripts must be submitted with certified English translations (if applicable). The independent credentialing report needs to be completed by a NACES-member organization, and WES is recommended.
    6. Applicant must complete Affidavit of Financial Support, International Clearance Form, and submit a copy of passport.
    7. Minimum testing requirements include:
      1. TOEFL Internet-based test score: 75-80; paper-based: 550; computer-based: 213
      2. IELTS band score: 6.5
      3. iTEP score: 4.0

    Note: International applicants who have received a baccalaureate or a graduate degree from a college/university/institution that English is the primary language of instruction are exempt from the TOEFL/IELTS requirement. Any applicant, who does not meet the English proficiency requirement, but, has a strong academic record, may be admitted to the University and will enroll in the University’s intensive English program, for appropriate course work, until suitable English proficiency is acquired. Upon acceptance to the Graduate Business Program, international applicant must complete the I20 process through the University Admissions Office.
