    Meet Our Faculty

In the Fall of 2016, The Department of Physical Therapy and the School of Business formed a partnership to offer a DPT/ MBA dual degree program.  One of only a few programs in the country to offer this option, this program builds on the success of both programs providing students a unique skill set as they begin their career.

Given the evolution of the health care arena especially with the changing environment and delivery of healthcare, physical therapists equipped with the proper financial and management skills will be in a prime position to effectively function in this environment.  Graduates of this program will be well positioned to manage a private physical therapy practice, leading a corporate non-profit hospital, skilled nursing or home health department, or contribute to the development or advancement of healthcare policy.  The DPT/ MBA program will concentration on providing graduates the necessary skill set to integrate effective business policies into health care.
