Biography
Mrs. Mozina graduated from Cambria Heights
High School in Cambria County in 1984. She attained undergraduate degree
in Special Education from the Pennsylvania State University and Masters in Educational
Leadership from Saint Francis University with special education supervisor and
principal certifications.
While employed at Hollidaysburg Area School District, she taught Special Education, high
school multiple disability support and elementary learning support.
Before accepting a position at the Bureau of Special Education as an adviser, she served as the Special
Education Director for Tyrone Area School District in Blair County and Purchase
Line School District in Indiana County.
Mrs. Mozina was BSE state lead for the State
Performance Plan/Annual Performance Report (SPP/APR) and the State Systemic
Improvement Plan (SSIP).
Prior to her career in
education, she served in the U.S. Army as a Russian Linguist and Military
Intelligence Analysist for the First Infantry Division (Big Rid One).
She resides in the Flinton, PA
with husband Brant and children Amelia and Angelo.
