    Ms. Angela Balog is an Instructor of Management in the School of Business, where she teaches undergraduate and graduate management, marketing, human resources, and entrepreneurship courses both online and face-to-face. 

    Ms. Balog received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration Management from Mount Aloysius College and a Master of Business Administration from East Carolina University, where she served as a graduate assistant for the Entrepreneurial Initiative program, which helped faculty, staff, and students develop technology companies and take products and services to market. Most recently, Ms. Balog attended Auburn University, where she was pursuing a Ph.D. in Organizational Studies, Strategy and Change, taught management courses, and was a graduate research assistant. Her research interests include: family businesses, female entrepreneurs, religiosity and spirituality of entrepreneurs, and entrepreneurship education. She is a member of the United States Association for Small Business and Entrepreneurship (USASBE), the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), the Academy of Management, and the Southern Management Association. 

    Before her academic career, Ms. Balog worked as a marketing communications coordinator for Digital Solutions/Inmate Telephone, Inc., a substitute teacher for the Wake County Public School System, a public relations, community support and special events coordinator at Sheetz Incorporated, a marketing and public relations associate at Mount Aloysius College, and interned as a performer at Walt Disney World.

    Angela is originally from Altoona, PA. She currently serves as Regent of her local Catholic Daughters of the Americas court. Angela and her husband are very active members of their church and local community, animal lovers, and have two daughters.
