    Biography

Born and raised in France, I was first engaged in a nursing career in France and then in the USA. While working as a nurse, I pursued a bachelor’s degree in secondary education in French. Since 2003, I have been teaching introductory to advanced college level French courses. In all of my classes, I work to expand the student’s linguistic and cultural awareness through a wide range of activities using the language as a means of communication. Periodically, I teach in Ambialet, our semester long study abroad program in France, and in that context, work intensively with the students minoring in French.
