    Biography

    After graduating from Saint Francis University with a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature, Kelly Rhodes attended Villanova University earning a Master’s Degree in English Literature. She is currently a doctoral candidate at the University of Phoenix in management and organizational leadership with a dissertation focus on corporate social responsibility in professional sports. She is planning a case study with a professional baseball team.

    Rhodes has a dual appointment in the English and Communications Departments which allows her to teach a variety of courses.  She enjoys teaching literature courses featuring sports in literature and American working class literature. Her writing courses include research writing linked with business and writing and communicating in business. Communications courses include Grammar for Media Professionals and Group Communication.

    She is involved outside of the classroom as advisor to Phi Lambda Psi leadership sorority and coordinator of the campus Green Team.
