Dear Colleagues,

We are sharing three quick updates.

  1. Emotional Intelligence Learning Community: This year’s Learning Community will focus on Emotional Intelligence. This small discussion group is open to both faculty and staff and will explore how emotional intelligence can strengthen teaching, leadership, and communication. These skills are increasingly talked about by employers as skills that AI can’t replace.

  2. Online Instructor Certification Course: Registration is now open for the certification course, which will run from October 5 to November 15, 2026. New faculty and adjuncts should register by October 1 to cetl@francis.edu.
  3. The September Workshop Calendar features ongoing events on accessibility and a new workshop on Copilot.
