Orientation Check In Volunteers Needed

Hello All-
We are once again requesting help with New Student Check in Thursday, August 20, 2026. We are looking for the following positions (please indicate on the link above your preference):
- Greeters: Greeters will be stationed outside of Stokes to help welcome our new students and families as they make their way to Check In. You'll be asking the students to scan the Check In QR Code (which will be made available by Admissions and posted on Sandwich boards) as they will need to do this before beginning the check-in process. You'll also be assisting families as they leave- pointing out directions to their students' residence hall (if applicable) and help answering any questions they may have.
- Volunteers / Helpers at Check In: This group of volunteers will be stationed just off the concourse into the main gym. Your task will include helping direct families to certain stations (families are welcome to go to EVERY table- but there are certain ones based on what their online profile lists- which will be on their phone- that they have to visit.)
Most students will arrive between 8:30am- 2:30pm. Coffee, Water & Juice will be out in the main gym all day. Lunch will be available for volunteers in the Aux Gym from 11-1pm. We are asking for volunteers up to 3pm- but we should be able to let you go at 2:30/ 2:45pm.
