Auditions and General Meeting for Sense and Sensibility

Auditions and General Meeting for Sense and Sensibility by Kate Hamill (adapted from the novel by Jane Austen) will be held on September 1st at 6pm in the Resinski Black Box Theatre, CFFAC. Students, faculty, and staff are welcome to audition and sign up for tech crew - no experience necessary.

In this playful new adaptation of Jane Austen's beloved novel, we follow the fortunes (and misfortunes) of the Dashwood sisters - sensible Elinor and hypersensitive Marianne - after their father's sudden death leaves them financially destitute and socially vulnerable. When reputation is everything, how do you follow your heart?

Rehearsals are generally Tuesday/Thursday evenings and Sunday afternoons. Performances are November 19, 20, 21, and 22nd.  There are large and small roles available, as well as a variety of tech work to be done throughout the semester! Contact April Beiswenger - abeiswenger@francis.edu
