      • The major addresses political, social, cultural and economic issues in their global and historical context, employing a multi-disciplinary approach, emphasizing core courses in political science, history and world languages. The program requires that students choose a minor or second major in another discipline to develop an additional skill-based or knowledge-based specialization according to the student’s specific career interests.

    Pre-Law Studies Concentration, B.A  - Course Catalog Major Requirements

    • The Pre-Law concentration is available as a concentration to students majoring in Political Science, Public Administration/Government Service, History, and other subject areas who are interested in attending law school. While this concentration is not mandatory for students preparing for a legal career, it does provide a unique preparation for law school. Enrolling in the Pre-Law Concentration ensures that interested students will receive appropriate advising as they prepare for a career in the legal profession.

      • The multi-disciplinary major will help you acquire analytical skills and the ability to communicate clearly. Training is provided in problem solving, statistics, and research. Additional collateral courses in management, accounting, finance, social science and the humanities are included.
