SFU Spirit Co. Unveiled as New Campus Store

Saint Francis University officially unveiled SFU Spirit Co., the newly refreshed campus store designed to bring together Red Wolves pride, everyday campus essentials, and the University’s  Catholic, Franciscan identity. 

The new name carries special meaning because students chose it. Students were invited to help shape the store's identity and ultimately chose SFU Spirit Co. as the name for the new space. During the unveiling celebration, Student Government Association Senator  Abrielle Brown helped reveal the new name and represented the student voice that played an important role in the process. 

More than simply a new name, SFU Spirit Co. was created as a destination for students, families,  faculty, staff, alumni, and visitors to celebrate their connection to Saint Francis University. 

The store features an expanded selection of Saint Francis and Red Wolves apparel and merchandise, along with a range of campus-life essentials. New products, greater variety, and a broader range of price points provide more options for members of the University community looking to show their SFU pride. 

A New Approach to Course Materials 

While the campus store has a new look and identity, students will continue to have convenient access to the course materials they need through eCampus. Rather than relying on a traditional campus bookstore model, students order textbooks and course materials through eCampus,  which offers options designed to help them find the most affordable way to obtain required materials. This approach lets SFU Spirit Co. focus its physical space on merchandise, essentials, and the campus experience while students access books through a dedicated online platform. 

Faith at the Heart of the Store 

A distinctive feature of SFU Spirit Co. is its Mission Corner, a dedicated space featuring official  Catholic merchandise and religious items. The Mission Corner reflects an important part of what makes Saint Francis University unique, providing students, families, alumni, and visitors an opportunity to find items that celebrate and express their Catholic faith. 

The Mission Corner was also part of the unveiling ceremony, which included a blessing by  University President Fr. Malachi Van Tassell, T.O.R., Ph.D., and remarks about the mission area. 

With its student-selected name, expanded merchandise, campus necessities, Mission Corner, and a new approach to course materials, SFU Spirit Co. is intended to be more than a place to shop. It is a space that reflects the energy, pride, tradition, faith, and sense of community that define  Saint Francis University. 

SFU Spirit Co hours are Monday - Friday 10:00 am - 6:00 pm.  Saturday hours adjusted during home football games, Admissions events, etc.
