Saint Francis University Again Recognized as a College of Distinction

Saint Francis University is proud to share that it has once again been named a College of  Distinction for the 2025-2026 academic year. This ongoing recognition underscores the  University’s dedication to providing a transformative undergraduate education rooted in hands-on learning, close student-faculty relationships, a vibrant campus life, and successful post-graduate outcomes. 

Honored for Our Catholic Identity 

As in previous years, Saint Francis University was also named a Catholic College of  Distinction. This honor reflects the University’s deep commitment to its Catholic-Franciscan mission and its integration throughout academic and campus life, guided by the Goals of  Franciscan Higher Education. 

Academic Programs of Distinction 

In addition to the overall designation, SFU received recognition for excellence in several academic disciplines, earning Field of Study badges in the following areas:

• Engineering
• Nursing. 

These programs stood out in a national evaluation for their accreditation, innovation, breadth,  and consistent student success outcomes. 

Career Development Recognition 

The University was also honored as a Career Development College of Distinction, recognizing its strong support for students’ professional goals.
