Aviation Careers Take Flight at SFU Open House
The sky’s the limit for those ready to launch their careers in aviation. On Saturday, November 1, 2025, Saint Francis University will welcome prospective students, families, and community members to a public Aviation Open House at its new Aviation Education Center, located at 220 Innovation Drive, Johnstown, PA 15904. The event runs from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and offers a hands-on introduction to one of the region’s most innovative career training programs.
Where Education Meets Real-World Flight Experience
The Open House will showcase the University’s Aviation Maintenance Technician (AMT) program and Aviation Specialization (pilot training)—both designed to prepare students for in-demand roles in the aviation industry. These programs combine technical skills, applied learning, and career readiness, ensuring graduates are equipped not only for aviation but also for a variety of high-skill technical careers.

Check-in & Refreshments (9:00 a.m.) – Guests will be welcomed by program leadership and enjoy light refreshments before diving into a morning full of discovery.
