Biography
Dr. Cammarata is a 1996 graduate of Hahnemann University where she obtained a Master of Physical Therapy degree. She completed her Doctor of Physical Therapy from Temple University in 2014 and became a board certified neurologic clinical specialist in the same year. She earned her Doctor of Education degree from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 2018. She has worked as a physical therapist in a variety of settings including inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation, acute care, and home health. Her focus has always been in the treatment of the neurologic population, especially those with balance and vestibular disorders. Dr. Cammarata joined SFU in 2012 as a lab instructor and became a full time faculty member in 2014. She has a passion for the integration of humanities into health science education.
