R.E.D. is a single day of service in which Saint Francis students go into local communities to show appreciation for all of the support that these communities provide to the University year-round.
Saint Francis’ chapter of Gamma Sigma Sigma (a national service sorority) organizes the event, and members of the Saint Francis community sign up as individuals or groups to volunteer in communities around the University as a way saying "thank you."
Last year, a record-breaking total of 447 students, faculty and staff turned out to make R.E.D. a huge success, completing over 1,081 community service hours in just one day. Each year, we hope to make the event even bigger!
