Mail Services

Mail Room Services

Mail Services offers a full range of services, including delivery of U.S. Mail, campus mail, and courier services (UPS, FedEx Ground, and Overnight).

Saturday: 8:00am – 11:30am (During Fall/Spring Semesters only)

Formatting Student Mail 

All undergraduate students living in campus housing will be assigned a box number for their mail.

Format for your incoming mail (letters):

Format for packages, or any shipping carriers that do not accept a P.O. Box for delivery:

Mail/Package Pickup at Your Box #:

  • You will receive an email from mailroom@francis.edu as soon as your mail or package arrives.
  • To pick up your items, simply stop by Mail Services with your SFU ID.
  • We will hold your mail/packages for up to 2 weeks at Mail Services for your convenience.
  • If you cannot make it during Mail Services hours, please send an email to mailroom@francis.edu with the name of the person picking up your items for you.
  • After 2 weeks, any uncollected mail/packages will be returned to the sender or disposed of (if return is not possible).
  • During Christmas break, we are happy to forward your mail upon request.
  • In the summer, we will automatically forward your mail to the address we have on file, unless you notify us in writing.

 

Sending Mail & Mailroom Services:

  • You can drop off outgoing mail at the Torvian Dining Hall mail drop box or bring it directly to Mail Services during regular hours.
  • When a package arrives for you, you will receive an email from noreply@getparceltracker.com Even if the tracking says it has been delivered, please wait for our email before coming to pick it up, this helps us ensure your package is ready and processed.
  • Please stop by Mail Room Services if you need stamps, envelopes, or packing supplies.

For the safety of your valuable items, we recommend not sending cash, checks, gift cards, or other valuables through USPS First-Class Mail without added security. To ensure safe and secure delivery, we suggest using a trackable, certified, or insured shipping method. These services are available through USPS, FedEx, and UPS.
