1. Freshman

	begin foundational business courses

	research and join business clubs, activities, and business research centers (SBDC, CSOR)

	begin to build resume, LinkedIn profile, and work portfolio 
- 
	develop a plan for career development and opportunities through academic advising and career placement experiences  

2. Sophomore
- 
	begin major coursework 
- 
	refine and add to resume, LinkedIn profile, and work portfolio 
- 
	expand career placement prep (career counseling, resume review) 
- 
	continue to build professional networking through student-alumni mentoring, Executive-In-Residence program, internships, etc. 
- 
	explore international study opportunities including the Springtime in London business trip 
3. Junior
- 
	begin client consulting coursework 
- 
	refine and add to resume, LinkedIn profile, and work portfolio 
- 
	accelerate career placement prep (mock interviews, career fairs, internships) 
- 
	continue to build professional networking through student-alumni mentoring, Executive-In-Residence program, internships, etc. 
- 
	complete mock interviews and research potential employers  
4. Senior
- 
	continue client consulting coursework and complete major requirements 
- 
	begin job search with final resume, LinkedIn profile, work portfolio, and the power of your professional and university network 
- 
	attend mock interviews, career fairs, on-campus job interviews, internships 
- 
	celebrate graduation with an eye to the future
