Academy for Leadership in Community Based Health Ministry
Are you an active member in a church? Do you have a strong faith? Do you promote the well-being of mind, body and spirit? If you answered yes to these questions, the Academy for Leadership in Community Based Health Ministry at Saint Francis University is for you.
The Academy for Leadership in Community Based Health Ministry focuses on areas of community need and cultivates a team of individuals that respond to that need.
The Academy is comprised of three sessions and courses are taught by experts that are active in the field and/or university faculty.
Students will learn the concepts of wholeness, holiness, and health; contemporary frameworks for understanding health, health promotion, and illness prevention; and appreciation of the history, philosophy, and models of health ministry, as well as the ethical and legal standards that apply.
