September 17, 2013

Saint Francis University is nationally ranked on Payscale.com’s 2013-14 College Salary and Return on Investment (ROI) annual reports. Saint Francis ranked 274 out of more than 1,000 universities and colleges for mid-career salary of graduates in the College Salary Report. Saint Francis also earned the 316 spot out of more than 1,500 schools for alumni’s overall net return on investment in the ROI Rankings Report.

While all of the Saint Francis alumni surveyed received some form of financial aid, the Payscale salary data showed that the investment in their education paid off; with an average return on investment of $752,200.

For the 2013 report, the sample is based on bachelor degree only graduates who work in the United States and completed a PayScale survey during the last year.

In addition to ranking in Payscale.com’s reports, Saint Francis recently ranked in the U.S. News & World Report's "Best Colleges 2014" survey list last week. In that report, Saint Francis ranked in the top fourth of institutions in the Tier I: North Regional Universities category. The University placed 43 out of the 188 institutions in that group that consist of mostly Masters I, private institutions. U.S. News ranks schools in seven weighted areas to develop an overall score.

Saint Francis also conducts a career placement survey each year. The most recent report found that within six months of graduation, 97% of 2012 graduates secured employment or were enrolled in graduate school.
