The Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA) has granted Accreditation-Continued status to the Saint Francis University Physician Assistant Program sponsored by Saint Francis University. Accreditation-Continued is an accreditation status granted when a currently accredited program is in compliance with the ARC-PA Standards.
Accreditation remains in effect until the program closes or withdraws from the accreditation process or until accreditation is withdrawn for failure to comply with the Standards. The approximate date for the next validation review of the program by the ARC-PA will be September 2016. The review date is contingent upon continued compliance with the Accreditation Standards and ARC-PA policy.
The Master of Physician Assistant Science Program has a 95% first-time taker pass-rate on the Physician Assistant National Certification Exam (PANCE). Take a look at our last five years’ of performance on the PANCE. Please feel free to also take a look at the
NCCPA First-Time PANCE rates for the most recent graduating classes, as reported by the NCCPA.
In addition, the Board Pass Rates Chart graphs the pass rate of first-time takers for the NCCPA exam at Saint Francis University against the national average since 1981:
From the Accreditation Standards for Physician Assistant Education: SECTION A: ADMINISTRATION A3.14b: "The program must define, publish and make readily available to … students general program information to include: the success of the program in achieving its goals.”
