MSP-RAMP for Teachers


    Saint Francis University and Appalachia Intermediate Unit 8 have partnered to conduct MSP-RAMP (Reflection and Application of Mathematical Practice), which provides professional development for approximately 40 teachers in school districts within IU8's region. This is a professional development grant opportunity and our target group is secondary math teachers.  Our project goals are to deepen the knowledge of mathematics content and effective instructional pedagogies while establishing a learning community of educators.  

     Follow Up Professional Development Dates:

    • October 8, 2014
    • November 19, 2014
    • March 25, 2015
    • Make-Up Date:  April 29, 2015
    Follow up participating teacher professional development dates will be held in the DiSepio Institute for Rural Health and Wellness, Room 213/214 from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM.

  • MPS Seeds Summer 2014

    The professional development activities will kick off with the Summer Institute which will take place July 14-18 and July 21-25, 2014 from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM each day.  The Summer Institute will take place in the Science Center with the main location being Classroom 024.
