    Biography

    Mrs. Margaret McMinn is a Human Resources Specialist at Penn State University, serving as an Employee Relations Strategist in the Labor & Employee Relations Division of the Office of Human Resources.  The chief responsibilities in this capacity include serving as a liaison between the work unit Human Resource Strategic Partners & Consultants (HRSP/C), employees (staff and faculty), supervisors/managers, and/or University offices/partners.  Mrs. McMinn provides guidance and recommendations in response to employee relations matters across the University, and will oversee sensitive investigations.

    Mrs. McMinn assists work units with resolving employee-related Hotline cases; counsels employees on problems affecting the workplace; advises managers, supervisors, and HRSP/Cs on employee-related matters; and serves as a resource for the interpretation and application of human resources policies.  Additionally, Mrs. McMinn serves on University committees/task forces, which encompass divisional, work unit, or University-wide projects.

    Mrs. McMinn obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Mercyhurst College in Erie, PA and her Master’s Degree in Human Resource Management and Industrial Relations from St. Francis College in Loretto, PA.
