Jane Maslonik is a Registered Dietitian and a Certified Diabetes Educator. She has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Food and Nutrition from The Pennsylvania State University and a Master’s Degree in Food and Nutrition from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. She is currently the Director of Nutrition at HealthSouth
Rehabilitation Hospital in Altoona, Pa., and is the coordinator of their Advanced Diabetes Program. She also does consulting work for Resta Home Health and 365 Hospice. She has been an adjunct professor at Saint Francis University for the past 6 years, teaching nutrition classes in the Nursing Department,
Public Health Department, as well as Core Wellness classes. She specializes in diabetic education, teaching classes at local pharmacies and as part of a grant secured through the “STOP Diabetes at Work" Program. She is certified in adult weight management through the Academy of Dietetics and is
also a certified instructor for SERV SAFE Program. In addition, she is a member of the American Dietetic Association.
