    Fr. Peter is returning to the University where he taught religious studies from 1967 to 1974 and served as executive vice-president from 1969 to 1972. He later served as rector and assistant professor of theology at St. Francis Seminary, Loretto. Other teaching appointments were at the University of St. Michael’s College in Toronto, Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, St. Mary’s Seminary and University in Baltimore, and the Washington Theological Union in Washington, D.C.

    In addition to his teaching duties, Fr. Peter served as Catholic Campus Minister at Texas Christian University and pastor of St. Andrew’s Church in Fort Worth. For the past 16 years he was the pastor of St. Ann and St. Wenceslaus parishes in Baltimore, Md. He was a member of the Ethics Committee of the Kennedy Krieger Institute in Baltimore and continues to serve on the Board of Directors of the Franciscan Action Network in Washington.

    Fr. Peter has been Director of Formation and a member of the Provincial Council of the Franciscan Province of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus. In his spare time he preaches at various parishes on behalf of Food for the Poor, an international relief and development agency which assists the needy of the Caribbean and Central America.
