The Ethics Institute at Saint Francis will host “Ethical Issues in the 2012 Presidential Election,” a community-faculty-student forum, on Thursday, November 1, at 7 p.m. in the John F. Kennedy Student Center Lounge.
The forum will include presentations by Dr. Joseph Melusky, professor of political science, on “Ethical Issues and the Political Candidates;” Dr. Arthur Remillard, assistant professor of religious studies, on “Religion and Politics: Seamless Garment or Single Issue Voting;” Dr. Rosemary Bertocci, professor of religious studies, on “The End of Poverty: Domestic and International;” Dr. Michael McKale, director of the ethics institute, on “Justice and Moral Priorities: Understanding the Budget and Economic Policies as Ethical Issues;” and Dr. Timothy Menta, associate professor of philosophy, on “Ethical Issues in Health Care Reform.” Dr. McKale, the director of the Ethics Institute, will moderate the forum.
