The Dorothy Day Center at Saint Francis University will host a spaghetti dinner and Chinese auction on Sunday, February 9, from 11 am until 2 pm. The dinner is open to the public and will be held at St. Michael’s School Hall in Loretto. The dinner will include spaghetti, meatballs, salad, garlic bread, and dessert. Cost for an adult meal is $7; meals for children 12 and under are $4.

All proceeds from the dinner and auction will benefit the Dorothy Day Center, which was created in 1981. It is a volunteer-based agency that strives to live out Franciscan values by following in the footsteps of its namesake, Dorothy Day. The Center serves local families in need in four counties (Blair, Bedford, Cambria, and Somerset). The Center provides support, programs, food, clothing, and monetary assistance and relies mainly on donations from the local community to be able to help others. For questions about the dinner please call 814-472-2832.

Saint Francis University aims to be as accessible as possible. Please contact our Accessibility Services Coordinator, April Fry, with specific inquiries at 814-472-3176 or complete our online request form at http://francis.edu/accessibility-accommodation-request/.
