This type of cohort development enables the students enrolled in the Master of Education program, offered by Saint Francis University, to grow professionally, earn a masters degree, obtain an Instructional II certification, and complete Act 48 credits. All classes in the cohort are offered at one central location, a designated school district building. The courses are also taught by local administrators within the school district. The MED program is a 30 credit requirement which offers one course per semester for 10 semesters. Courses are offered one night a week during the fall and spring semesters; and two nights a week during each of the two summer semesters. The Graduate Education Department will prepare a schedule of classes through the duration of the program.
