Francis Worldwide Best Master of Medical ScienceSaint Francis University’s Online Master of Medical Science program has been named one of the top ten in the country for Physician Assistants by Master’s Program Guide.

Coming in at #10 in the ranking, SFU’s program was recognized for its affiliate network for clinical rotations, flexibility for busy adult learners, and knowledgeable faculty with research and clinical backgrounds. “SFU’s faculty are researchers and clinicians who bring a wealth of knowledge into the classroom,” according to Master’s Programs Guide. The program was also recognized for its integration of Franciscan values into the program, including the commitment to providing for the underserved.

The mission of the Online Master of Medical Science (MMS) Program is to provide students in affiliated physician assistant programs the opportunity to obtain graduate education in an affordable, flexible, online format. Upon completion of the MMS program, graduates will be able to use research to develop evidence based regimes/programs to address unmet needs and critically analyze current pharmacotherapeutics and apply to disease processes in clinical practice.

The MMS Program partners with physician assistant certification programs throughout the United States to offer an opportunity for those students to earn a master’s degree while they complete their clinical rotations. This option permits these graduates to be competitive with entry level master’s degree physician assistant practitioners.

Saint Francis’ Online Master of Medical Science program is a part of Francis Worldwide, SFU’s school for continuing adult education, which offers additional programs in the healthcare fields including Certificates and Associate’s, Bachelor’s, and Master’s Degrees.

Master’s Program Guide uses a methodology that depends on reliable research and data to rank programs. Rankings are based on earnings potential, affordability, student satisfaction, and selectivity.
