When students and staff of the Saint Francis University Master of Cancer Care (MSCC) Program presented their research at the National American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) in Orlando, FL they left a strong impression on Dr. Ciaran Fairman.
Dr. Fairman is an Exercise Physiologist and host of the REACH podcast. REACH stands for Research in Exercise And Cancer Health. Each episode, Dr. Fairman invites patients, survivors and health professionals to discuss how exercise can reduce cancer risk, complement traditional treatment, and improve survivorship.
Before the June 5th episode, Dr. Fairman gave special recognition to the SFU MSCC program:
“Before we start today's episode I want to give a huge shout out to all the folks at Saint Francis University’s Master of Cancer Care Program. It’s really cool to see their students be so passionate. They’re going to have a huge impact on the field moving forward.”
