Meadows Ice CreamTwo Saint Francis University Shields School of Business Alums will open the 27th franchise location of the Meadows Original Frozen Custard. Thomas Vigneault (2011) and his brother and co-owner, Zack Vigneault (2016) plan to open this location along with their grandfather, Gil Vigneault, in Somerville, NJ.

The Meadows Original Frozen Custard is a small custard stand with a big following because of its premium, high-end custard, originated out of Duncansville, PA.

“We’re going to have friendly, personable, good old-fashioned service to go along with the classic décor,” Vigneault told

The Meadows' original ice cream recipe will be used, as well as the special ingredient that pays homage to the brothers' Pennsylvania roots.

“This frozen custard is all from Galliker's Dairy Farm and tastes like soft serve ice cream, but with much more substance.”

Congratulations and good luck to the Vigneault brothers on their entrepreneurial endeavor!
