Saint Francis University's Center for Service & Learning and The Cambria County Drug Coalition invite you to attend an intriguing and
informative training, The Social Development Strategy. This strategy fosters
the success and health of young people from before birth through every stage of
development. It’s easy to use, easy to remember, and it works! Providing young
people with opportunities, skills and recognition strengthens bonds with
family, school and community. Strong bonds motivate young people to adopt
healthy standards for behavior.
This strategy has been tested and proven effective. It is a
foundation of Communities That Care operating system. This system is being
implemented via the prevention leg of the Cambria County Drug Coalition. The
Coalition is happy to welcome expert trainers Elizabeth Eckley Winder and
Meghan Blevins, Communities That Care Training and Technical Assistance
Coordinators with the Evidence-based Prevention
and Intervention Support Center (EPISCenter) at Penn State University.
Seating is limited to the first ninety registrants.
