From Hollywood to Hollidaysburg, meet Dr. Harry Kloor

On Thursday, May 11th at 7 pm, Dr. Harry Kloor, a nationally-known science writer, director, and producer will present and facilitate a discussion about the role of technology in sciences in the Allegheny Creamery and Crepes restaurant at Hollidaysburg, PA. This talk is presented by the Science Outreach Center and is open to the public.

Dr. Kloor SpotlightDr. Kloor is the first American man in history to simultaneously earn a doctorate in Physics and Chemistry. Additionally, he authored six episodes of Star Trek: Voyager and served as story editor for Gene Roddenberry’s series Earth: Final Conflict

Dr. Kloor is the producer and co-director of Quantum Quest: A Cassini Space Odyssey movie which will open on May 10th in Richland Cinemas, Johnstown, PA. The movie is an educational, animated action film that features voice actors from such notable franchises as Star Wars and Star Trek
